MATERIALS

Look past
the silhouette.

An aluminum fence can look visually light while defining a clear boundary. After choosing the outline you like, compare the actual system: its members, spacing, finish, supported layouts and gate details.

01 / MATERIALS

Choose the line your eye will follow.

A flat top creates a simple horizontal line. Other styles add exposed picket tips, extra rails or decorative elements. Look at the full run against the house and planting, including the way the pattern continues through a gate. In the Westmoreland area near the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, consider which planting and garden views you want to keep open.

Ask for the spacing and profile of the actual product. An illustration can explain a style, but it does not establish the openings, dimensions or suitability of a fence used for a particular purpose.

02 / MATERIALS

Translate the product label into details.

Terms such as residential or commercial grade are starting points, not a complete specification. Manufacturer, product series, panel dimensions, post system and intended use all matter. Tell our team which look and layout you have in mind when you request your free aluminum fence quote.

The finish and hardware deserve the same attention as the panels. Ask which hinges, latches and fasteners are proposed and what care instructions apply. Do not substitute a general material claim for the product’s actual written information.

03 / MATERIALS

Connect the geometry to the yard.

Ask how the system handles elevation changes and whether the proposed panels can follow the relevant slope. The transition beneath the fence may be particularly important for pets, small openings or a pool-related use.

Place gates on the plan before settling the panel rhythm. A gate must function through its entire swing, not simply look aligned when closed. Discuss the supporting posts, hardware, nearby paving and any change in grade in one coordinated layout.

One more thing.

Does an aluminum fence automatically qualify as a pool barrier?

No. The complete layout, openings, height, gates, hardware and applicable requirements need a project-specific review. A material name is not an approval.
